Here's Friday in AI. Claude Code Projects is open to every Pro and Max user on Anthropic's waitlist. Anthropic's Managed Agents can now split one job across many agents. Codex starts suggesting your next message. You can start a ChatGPT dot from your phone. And Devin now runs on the ChatGPT plan you already pay for. And there's more.
Claude Code Projects: every Pro and Max user on the waitlist is in
First, Claude Code Projects. Anthropic let in every Pro and Max user from its waitlist. A project is one conversation with a coordinator. You give it a goal, and it starts a thread for each piece of the work.
One ask became eight threads, and their pull requests came back to one place
Ask about a slow marketing site, and it splits the work into eight threads, each opening its own pull request, all reporting back to the same conversation. The verdict: if you pay for Pro or Max, this is the one to try this weekend.
Claude Managed Agents: a lead agent splits one job across many agents
Next, Claude Managed Agents. Dynamic workflows are now in public beta. When a job has too many pieces for one agent, the lead agent writes a plan, and the server runs it across many agents in phases.
300 contracts read at once, one answer back: 41 have the clause
Here, that's three hundred contracts read at once, and one answer back: forty-one have a change-of-control clause. You turn it on in the agent's definition, and a budget caps the whole run. The verdict: it's built for big batch jobs. For a single task, one agent is still simpler.
Codex now suggests your next message, for Pro users
OpenAI's Codex now suggests your next message, based on your conversation and how you talk to it. It's called composer predictions, in beta for Pro users. The verdict: a small time-saver, and Pro only for now.
ChatGPT dots: start one from your phone, on iOS and Android
Dots, the always-on agents OpenAI introduced last week, can now be created straight from your phone. It's in the ChatGPT app on iOS and Android. The verdict: if you have dots, you no longer need a desk to start one.
Devin now runs on the ChatGPT plan you already pay for
And Cognition's Devin now works with any personal ChatGPT plan. Connect Go, Plus or Pro, and Devin's GPT model usage draws from your plan's quota. The verdict: if you pay for both, flip this on today, and stop paying twice for the same model.
Also out Friday: Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo and A100s in Colab
Also out on Friday: Qwen released open weights for Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo, which makes and edits images in eight steps. And Google's AI Pro plan now comes with A100 GPUs in Colab, with eighty gigabytes of memory. That's enough to run the 31 billion parameter Gemma 4 without shrinking it.
One to try this weekend: Claude Code Projects, on Pro or Max
