OpenCode workers receive their task
OpenCode workers now receive their task
- Before
- on a busy machine, a worker’s task could sit unsent in OpenCode’s input box
- Now
- Orca waits until OpenCode can submit it
- Models
- a worker can use a requested model without changing your default
In Orca 1.4.222, OpenCode workers get their task. On a busy machine it could sit unsent in OpenCode's input box. Orca now waits until OpenCode can submit it.
Revealed remote computers stay visible
Remote computers you reveal in the sidebar stay visible
They no longer disappear again while Orca saves the setting.
If you work across machines, a remote computer you show in the sidebar now stays put. Before this patch, it could vanish again while Orca was still saving that choice.
CSV files edit as tables
CSV files open as a table you can edit
Large files open without loading the whole file. From 1 MiB up, the table stays a read-only preview.
CSV files now open as a table you can edit. Change cells, add or remove rows and columns, sort and filter. Big files open without loading everything, but from one megabyte up they stay read-only.
Enter in Japanese, Chinese or Korean input
Enter confirms Japanese, Chinese or Korean text, and nothing more
It no longer also submits the field, creates the file, or sends the comment, across Orca.
If you type in Japanese, Chinese or Korean, pressing Enter to confirm your text no longer also submits the field, creates the file, or sends the comment. That holds everywhere in Orca.
Credit balances in the usage menu
The usage menu shows credit balances next to usage limits
- Claude
- usage credits
- OpenCode Zen
- balance
- Codex
- credits
The usage menu now shows what you have left to spend, next to your limits. Claude usage credits, your OpenCode Zen balance, and Codex credits. A balance the provider doesn't report stays unknown.
Three fixes
Three fixes you may have hit
- Codex accounts
- restarting after a switch resumes the same conversation, with no blank terminal
- Remote Claude Code
- coming back to the tab no longer shows old shell output through Claude’s screen
- Restored tabs
- files outside your projects no longer come back as “Access denied” after a restart
Three fixes. Switching Codex accounts and restarting picks up the same conversation. Remote Claude Code tabs stop showing old shell output. And tabs for files outside your projects reopen after a restart.

Coming from v1.4.221? Three fixes wait for the terminal service to restart
Recognizing OpenCode on macOS, Pi installed from npm, and Qoder started with qoder. From v1.4.220 or earlier, new terminals get them right away.
v1.4.222 release notes
Coming from 1.4.221, your terminal service keeps running, so fixes for recognizing OpenCode, Pi and Qoder wait until it restarts. From older versions, new terminals get them right away.
