  1. Enclose 0.0.15 gives every project an inspiration board. You collect pictures of what the thing should look like, and the agent designs by them. Long conversations now compact on their own, and circuit boards get a much closer look.

    Enclose

Every project gets an inspiration board the agent designs by

    Enclose 0.0.15
  2. Press Shift I to open the board, even before there is a model. Drop pictures on it, paste them, or paste a link. A link to a page brings the picture that page is shared with, named by its title.

Gather pictures before there is a model

Shift+I opens the board where the view was.

    Drop
    Pictures straight onto the board
    Paste
An image, or a link to one
    Paste a page
Brings the picture it shares, named by its title
  3. As each picture lands, the agent studies it the way an industrial designer would. What it is, its form, its materials and finish, how it looks to be made, and what to take from it. Claude Code does the looking, or Codex when Claude is off. Whenever the board changes, your next message carries all of it.

The agent studies each picture as an industrial designer would

    Claude Code looks.
With Claude switched off, Codex does.
    What the agent sees
    1. What it is
    2. Its form
    3. Its materials and finish
    4. How it looks to be made
    5. What to take from it
  4. Click into a picture to pin a note on one spot. Command G groups pictures under a title, O lays the board out in tidy rows, and typing @ in a message attaches a board picture. It all lives in an inspiration folder inside the project.

Pin notes, group pictures, and @ them in a message

    NShow all notes
    ⌘GGroup with a title
    OOrganize in rows
    EExpand all groups
    ⌘FSearch the board
    @Attach to a message
    inspiration/
      board.json  positions, notes, groups
      a copy of each picture
  5. Long conversations now compact themselves. Once one fills 85 percent of the agent's context window, Enclose has it summarize the earlier messages before your next one goes out. You can also type slash compact. Afterwards, the agent is told about the board again.

Long conversations compact before they run out of room

    85%
0 tokens the agent’s context window, up to 1,000,000 tokens
    Compacted automatically at 864k tokens
Earlier messages were summarized to make room.
    Or ask for it: /compact
  6. You can now ask for a new project in the middle of a conversation. Say make the lid a project of its own. When the turn ends, Enclose makes it, empty or as a copy of this one, and opens it with the agent already at work. Projects can also be pinned to the top of the list.

Ask for a new project without leaving the conversation

Pin to topon any project card
Make the lid a project of its own
Start a new project for a phone stand
The app makes it once the turn is over, empty or as a copy of this project, and opens its first conversation.
  7. Circuit boards get a closer look. Command F finds parts, pins and nets. Pointing names the pin, the trace length or the drill, in the drawing and in 3D. Click a connection to X-ray it through both sides. Pick a part on the schematic, and Enclose asks JLCPCB for its stock and price.

  8. While a board is made in detail, you can watch it. Each step shows how long it took, and the router's attempts are drawn over the board in amber. A finished board is marked ready to order, and the model is fitted to it where needed: small changes are made, and big ones are asked about first.

  9. There is a security fix too. Enclose moves to Electron 44.9.3. The version it had still trusted the eMudhra intermediate certificates found to be compromised, for everything the app fetches. Packages flagged by npm audit, including zod, move to fixed versions as well.

  10. To upgrade, press the download button above settings, then press it again when it turns orange. On Linux, only the AppImage updates itself. One limit: Grok and opencode can't see pictures, so Claude Code or Codex looks at the board. That's Enclose 0.0.15, a board of pictures the agent designs by.

Update from the button at the bottom left

    macOS, and the Linux AppImage

Press the download button above settings. When it turns orange, press it again to restart.

    deb, pacman, rpm

Download 0.0.15 from GitHub Releases and install it as before.

Limit: with neither Claude Code nor Codex on, board pictures go unlooked at. Grok and opencode can’t see pictures.
